Distributing content through third party platforms (i.e., Facebook Instant Articles, Snapchat Discover, Google AMP and Apple news) has become commonplace. What has been the biggest challenge or concern for newsrooms so far? Platforms increasingly have power to decide what gets heard and what doesn't, by designing algorithms that determine what users see and to reserve the right to moderate or censor any speech. How does that affect decisions to publish content on these platforms? Should it? What should be measures of success for newsrooms in the current media landscape?
