Michael Bolden is editorial director of the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation, where he supervises content strategy and distribution. Previously, he headed an award-winning Washington Post team that covered transportation and development. He is a past Maynard Fellow in media leadership and entrepreneurship at Harvard University. He earned a BA from the University of Alabama.
