Sandy Bergo has been the executive director of the Fund for Investigative Journalism since 2010. Before that, she was an investigative producer at WBBM-TV (Chicago) for twenty years, and also freelanced investigative articles for the Washington Monthly, the Chicago Tribune, and the Los Angeles Times.
